Clash Of Clans News: Town Hall 11 Update To Be Released Tomorrow, Last Sneak Peek Revealed

It looks like there will not be another Clash of Clans Town Hall 11 update sneak peek: The Clash of Clans update will be released Thursday, Dec. 10. For a recap of the Clash of Clans news and changes that Supercell revealed during the past two weeks and will be taking effect tomorrow for the Clash of Clans world, read on below.

The biggest Clash of Clans news was the unveiling of the Grand Warden, the new Clash of Clans hero that will be unlocked with Town Hall 11. The Grand Warden can patrol (on defense) or attack (on offense) both in the air and on the ground, and can be upgraded to level 20 by using Elixir. The coolest feature of the Grand Warden though is his passive Area of Effect (AoE) aura ability, aptly called Life Aura, that will grant a Health Point (HP) boost to any friendly units within its reach.

The Grand Warden’s active ability is even cooler. Called Eternal Tomb, it makes all friendly units inside Life Aura’s range temporarily invulnerable, in the same way scooping up a star in Super Mario does. This becomes important once you see the massive splash damage the new defensive structure that is coming in the Clash of Clans Town Hall 11 update, called Eagle Artillery, can unleash on attacking troops that are clumped together.

Also included in the Clash of Clans Town Hall 11 update are level 3 Witches, level 8 Minions, level 12 Gold and Elixir storage (which can each hold up to 10 million Gold and Elixir respectively), the ability to add five more defensive structures and a new donation menu that will allow Clash of Clans players to donate spells to a clanmate’s Clan Castle.

The Clash of Clans map is being upgraded to be able to fit all this new stuff in, to its new size of 44x44 tiles, and the Clash of Clans shield system is being seriously revamped to make Clash of Clans fairer for all players.

After this Clash of Clans Town Hall 11 update, attacking while shielded will now cost a percentage of remaining shield time instead of wiping the shield entirely. Having a shield will not prevent Clash of Clans players from entering multiplayer matchmaking as well, nor will it stop a Clash of Clans player from attacking another player in revenge. It will cost 3 hours of the remaining time left on the shield, however, although Clash of Clans players will be able to browse targets with no penalty while shielded

Other changes included the addition of the Village Guard. The Village Guard will prevent a Clash of Clans player from being attacked for 15 minutes if they're a Champion 1 or below, 1 hour if they're a Titan III, 2 hours if they're a Titan II or 3 hours if they're either a Titan I or Legend.  The Personal Break system has been revamped as well in this upcoming Clash of Clans update, and Clash of Clans players will now be kicked offline after spending 3 hours of time online without a shield. This is a decrease from the current 6 hour time limit.
